E-mail DustyBorn in Hobbs New Mexico in 1983, Dusty has recently become the Lead Pastor of Castle Ave. Baptist Church in Hobbs NM. He also attened University of the Southwest, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Religion. Castle is Dusty's first Pastorate. Around the age of seventeen, while attending a covenant weekend at Taylor Memorial Baptist in Hobbs, He accepted Christ as his savior. He later was Baptized at Vista Pointe Baptist in Hobbs that year. While attending Vista Pointe Dusty became the Drama Leader of Pure Passion Drama, and a youth sponser. While on a youth trip with Vista Pointe's Fire Proof Youth ministries, Dusty surrendered to the call of ministry. Two years ago Dusty left Vista Pointe to become our pastor. He is also the Baptist Student Union Director here in Hobbs, where he works with the University of the Southwest and New Mexcio Junior College, helping to spread the gospel to our local college students here in Hobbs. On June 28th 2008, he was married to one Elizabeth Young.
